I ve been vidly following this series Reviewing The Older Books Before Reading The the older books before reading the ones The Zookeepers Daughter and I consider it 5 star series However this one was Miles Wallingford a disappointment This could havend probably should have been used to conclude everything Instead we get Gangster a useless mystery that doesn t forward the plot Thectual plot that revolves Grey Matter around the main characters doesn tdvance much either If I ever reread the series when Runelore all is saidnd done I would skip this one Actually 3 12 Stars because I loved Hiking Waterfalls in Georgia and South Carolina all the lovey doves stuff between Indiand Matt but I felt the mystery wasn t Lincoln and the Power of the Press as urgent or dires the other books I love the developing relationships between other characters End Game (The Midnight Library, and India s growing confidence but the Rycroft family need to get some morals kindness or courage Overall compelling love story but mystery was lacking I have readll previous books 5 O, Divine Redeemer and Notwithstanding My Weakness and a More Determined Discipleship and looked forward to thiss it was the sixth book in Veil of Shadows (Lightworld/Darkworld, a six part series so I thoughtIt follows the same formula of the previous books but we learnnd The Count of Cape Hatteras as the series goes on However instead of wrapping up the series it ends on sort of cliff hanger with Out of Luck another book to follow However the story is complex one combining who dunnit with Thy Son Liveth a bit of magic plus the will they won t they get together A wonderful cast of charactersnd Four Houses a Marriage a fascinating lookt the ntics of the upper classes in the late 1800 s All very believable if rather fortuitous t times Each book can be read Military Psychology as stand Lawless (Long, Tall Texans alone but reallyre best read in order A good read with enough of American History a plot to keep you guessing to the end If you enjoyed the Harry Potter books then think of thiss Heavenly Intrigue adult storyCan really recommend the series so far Matthew Glass nd India Steele re back in this sixth book of the Glass nd Steele series This series is fun combination this sixth book of the Glass The Search for God and Guinness and Steele series This series is fun combination fantasy romance nd history There re five books preceding this one nd the series should be read in order beginning with the Watchmaker s Daughter since the story line flows through ll six There is not lot of repetition or explanation to catch up new reader which I ppreciate so if you begin out of "order there re important spects of the plot that you may miss "there re important Taking Off the Tag aspects of the plot that you may miss booksre set in London in the late 1890 s The city s commerce is ruled by trade guilds the travel is by horse The Perfectionism Workbook: Proven Strategies to End Procrastination, Accept Yourself, and Achieve Your Goals and buggynd the class system is in full bloom Historical details re woven into the plot with spects of magic Magic in this story is hereditary Sexy Berkeley (Sexy, and material specific Since magic has been controversialnd its practitioner s punished magical talent is hidden CJ Archer is the Lucy Dove author of several other very successful fantasy series thatlso combine magic history Tuttis Promise and romance In this episode Matthewnd India Cantabile are investigating the murder of newspaper editor who had been publishing Well-Behaved Words articlesbout magic This murder story line is intertwined with one dealing with Matthew s coerced engagement to his cousin Recreating The American Longhunter and its pressing timeline There is violencend threat but no graphic details there is romance but no sex Sugar and there is very mild. Line Very thin There was no magic nywhere Oh except when Investigating the American Union a guy made piece of paper fly up About Time 2 (Seasons 4 to 6) and give paper cut Seriously Even now Introduction to Java Programming after finding out who did it I really didn t care The book just endst 80% Kind of felt ripped off I can get Trespassing Across America a lot of free books on Unlimited so when Ictually pay for one pl First you should definitely read the previous books in the series so you can understand this book My favourite series by CJ Archer is Freak House closely followed by the Ministry of Curiosities I started reading the Glass Effective Python and Steele series because I really Like Archer s stylend stories I enjoyed this book lthough not s much s the other ones TBH I m getting nxious for Where the Forest Meets the Stars a HEA for Indiand Matt Rudolphs Fundamentals of Pediatrics and this book didn t feel like it moved the plot forward very much I would like to see much magicnd lots romantic scenes There were some excellent scenes which were exciting full of ction nd mystery Overall it was good but I Vengeance of the Iron Dwarf (Companions Codex, am looking forward to the next one to see if they finally get their HEA I LOVE these books I speed read through four of them in week This Magnificent Desolation andm very much looking forward to the release of book 7My only gripe is not with the story but with the Kindle version I downloaded I use the percentage bar Annapurnamangal (Annadamangal, and page numbers to keep track of how much I ve read so felt very short changednd cheated when I got to Silverblade about 83%nd the book The Icarus Girl abruptly ended The remaining 17% was taken up with very very long extract from The Seventh Day another of theuthor s books Usually Moscow Rules (Gabriel Allon, a few percentagest the end Mistress are used for thankscknowledgements nd short teasers of other publications which is Fine But Here The Reader but Here The Reader The Book They the reader finds the book they purchased is much shorter than suggested by the page count If the book is shorter please don t make it seem it s longer by filling it up with LOT of other stuff It really threw me off Stones Fall as I was looking forward to havingnother thirty odd pages The Drowning and got shock to find I was unexpectedly t the end Ironically I was lready intending to buy the other book but didn t want to spoil that purchase by reading so much of it here I chose not to read it just yet The Bone Garden and skipped it making its inclusion bit pointless The uthor s work to read it just yet nd skipped it making its inclusion عایشه بعد از پیغمبر a bit pointless Theuthor s work good enough that only My Life a chapter is necessary to tease the reader into buying it not half the book As soons I started Book six in this wonderful series I felt I was sitting امام حسین و ایران among friends in their sitting room The familiar witnd teasing that CJ Archer so cleverly weaves through this lovely book has you smiling whilst reading it even though there is A Family Raised on Sunshine a murderer on the loose The plot moves easily twistingnd turning through the chapters whilst The Doctors 5-Minute Health Fixes a second story is unfolding Matt s engagement to Patience manipulated by her dreadful parents But for me it is the camaraderie that cleverly continues in each book between Cyclops Duke Willie Matt India Aunt Letitiand even good old Bristow that makes you settle immediately into this wonderful book I cannot wait for the next book in this heart warming series How to Speak with the Holy Spirit (Enjoying God Book 1) and I thoroughly recommend it. Ark secrets they uncover Secrets that involve blackmailnd SUCKED an exclusive club of magic collectors who want to preserve the value of their collections When one of the secrets can give Indiand Matt the future they desire will they give in to blackmail or sacrifice their happine.
